VLC Media Player Extension - A Simple Tool For Playing Media Files

To play a video or audio file, just right-click on it and select the context menu item or the browser action button.

The tool will find out the mime type of the file and it will be played in the VLC media player. If you are using the browser action button, you will get a prompt box to choose a link or a file to be played.

With this extension, you can also create your own media streams for playing in the VLC media player, by just copying the URL or sending it to the player.
